He is down on his luck.
He didn't receive a good set of cards.
At one point he was on top of the world.
Now, he's nothing.
His friends look at him and laugh.
With each passing day he loses himself a bit more and more.
His parents are patient with him.
If only they knew the pain he faces.
If only someone could help him.
But no one can help him.
He's "Mr. Solo Dolo".
He tries to walk with the heart of a lion.
But it is his own emotions that hold him back.
His struggle with his vulnerabilities leaves him drained.
Both physically and mentally he is unstable.
He sits and contemplates suicide daily.
Would he ever go through with it?
Only God and himself know the answer to that question.
I try to be real with him.
I tell him to keep his head up.
But words will only do but so much...
What do you tell someone in his position?
Do you just stand back while life sends him on a wild ride that he may
not come back from?
Or do you try to alleviate the pressure that he is going through?
...
